I am also descended from Clements in Ontario, although I don't see a Frederick in the group. My family comes from Thomas Clements via his son David in the Chesley area. Any chance of a connection?
Anne

Message Board Post:
Hi,
My Emeline/Emma Sidway (1849 IL - 1928 MO) married Everett Atherton Clement (1846 VT - 1908) in 1868
But I am having the devil of a time finding them on the 1880 census.
1870 I've got them in Alton, Madison Co., IL
1900 I've got them the same place
1910 she's a widow and still there.
1920 she's with her son in Missouri
on the 1900 census, she says she had 9 children with 7 alive - I've got a possible 6, all year estimates from censuses:
George b. 1870
Mabel b. 1872
Frank b. 1874
Everett b. 1880
Chester 1886-aft 1928
Sidway b. 1891
does this sound familiar to anyone?
thanks for the help
Julie

I think Cesar Clemente was my Grandmother Evelyn's father. I think he was married twice and his second wife was my gradmother's mother. I trying to conect with any family from my fathers side. It's a bit difficult because everyone is now passed on.
Thank you,
Jodi Jardine
