Hello Mary,
The person for whom Diana is seeking death & burial information was the son
of Anthony Clement & Rebecca Rogers, the grandson of Simon Clement and Mary P.
Wright.
He was married and enumerated in Weakley Co., TN in 1880. In 1900 he had
remarried and was enumerated in Franklin Co., AR. The LDS IGI lists a death date
but shows no location of death/burial.
Don & Brenda Chandler
According to the Biographical Souvenir of the State of Texas, page 176-180,
Dr. Simeon Erasmus Clement [son of Simeon Clement, Granville Co. NC, born
28 Sept 1820] was last known to be living in Paris [Lamar] TX. Is this your
man?

Here is a summary of the death certificate for George J. CLEMENT. I am wondering why the name of his mother is different. It has been assumed and reported that Nancy (SMITH) Josselyn was George's mother. I know that Joseph E. Clement (George's father) and Nancy were divorced. Perhaps the woman listed is the only "mother" the informant (who is not listed) knew.
