The first church records were recorded Jan. 3, 1873. They could of made a mistake for Anastasie date that she died. I found Charles and Anastasie in the census of 1910. they lived on Webster Corp. st in Pembroke. it also stated that they came to US in 1878.
In 1920 census Anastasie was living with her daughter Anastasie Santerre and family on Glass st. Also which I found interesting was that they were living next to my great-grand-father Fanny my grandfather was 19 at the time.
In the church books Anastasie daughter had 6 children which 3 of them died as babies. I have names for all of them if you are interested.
For smome reason I cannot find the family in 1880,1900 census.
If you need some more information from the church books of st John Baptist church let me know because I bought the set from 1873 to 1999. Or if you need some info from the census I can do that for you also.

Thank you so very much!
This ties in with my limited results. Some dates differ slightly and the family was larger than shown in the family bible.
I show Charles James Clement's parents to be Charles Clement, DOB of 5/23/1834 & DOD of 7/23/1910; Anastasie Galarneau, DOB of 11/19/1846 & DOD of 5/20/1927.
Also, that bible only lists two brothers and one sister for Charles James Clement. Adelard Clement (possibly the 10th born), DOB of 7/25/1885; Ellie Dolor, "ED" Clement, DOB of 5/15/1888 (11th born); and Lillian Clement, DOB of 9/5/1890.
That bible was maintained by Charles Clement's wife, Anna Marie Specht. I knew her, after her husband died in 1926. She was a strong German and never spoke of her husband, my grandfather. Everything she told me of the family related to the Specht line. Now that I am older (67) I realize that she may have made mistakes in the Clement lineage, since her interests were solely in her family.
In any case, I thank you for this information.
Ron

I am researching the James line. William and Sarah James Clemens & children are in Ebensburg from 1870 through 1900. I have seven children listed for them. They are; Mary, Sarah, James, Diana, William, John, and Margaret. All born between 1852 and 1871.
I can't find anything concrete after 1900. Would like to know more about their siblings, and Williams parents.

A few things I found:
1- A website about the History of the Eastern townships in Quebec and hosted by the genealogical society of that area. See it at this address……….http://genealogie.org/club/sgce/histce.htm
It says:
Les CLEMENT de Katevale descendent d'Etienne Clément et de Françoise Pépin dit Descardonnets mariés le 12 janvier 1830 à St-Jean Baptiste.de Rouville
-Or-
The Clement family from Katevale decend from Etienne Clement and Francoise Pepin called Descarrdonnets. They married on the 12 January 1830 at Saint John the Baptiste parish in Rouville, Quebec
2- You already know that:
Charles Clement (son of Etienne Clement & Francoise Pepin)
married 16 January 1865 at St-Patrice parish in Magog, Quebec
to Anastasie Galarneau (daughter of Narcisse & Julienne St-Jacques)
and I mentioned previously that Charles had a brother-
Etienne Clement (son of Etienne Clement & Francoise Pepin)
married 7 September 1858 at St-Tomas d’Aquin parish in Compton
to Alphonsine Galarneau (other daughter of Narcisse Galarneau & Julienne St-Jacques)
But I have found a few other brothers to Charles:
(a) Ulderic Clement (son of Etienne Clement & Francoise Pepin
married 27 May 1862 at St-Patrice in Magog, Quebec
to Helen Lanlois (daughter of Joseph & Justine St-Jacques)
(b) Alphonse Clement (son of Etienne Clement & Francoise Pepin)
married 6 October 1863 at St-Patrice in Magog, Quebec
to Justine Langlois (daughter of the same Joseph & Justine St-Jacques)
A listing for the 1871 Census in Stanstead County, Quebec shows the following info:
Etienne Clement, 62 yrs old, born in Province of Que, Roman Catholic, speaks french, and works as a “Journalier” (labourer) and was married.
Living in district 141, subdistrict D, division 1, page 31
Charles is on the same page at 37 years of age, also born in Quebec, Roman Catholic, French speaking, married and working as a farmer.
Ulderic is in subdistrict d-1, page 38
According to the 1901 census, as seen at www.automatedgenealogy.com
Charles was living in Stanstead district, Hatley F-2 sub-district, page 2:
Charles Clement was born May 23, 1834 and was 66 years old.
His wife, Anastasie was born November 19, 1846 and was 54 years old
Their son, C?lva was born March 15, 1888 and was born in the united states and was 13 years old.
(a) Ulric Clement, born Sept 8, 1841 was 59 years old and living in Stanstead district, Barnston B-2 sub-district, page 9, with his wife Helen (now spelled Ellen) on page 10 and their son Godfrey.
(b) There’s Edouard A. Clement (who I believe may be Edouard Alphonse Clement) born Sept 14, 1840 at age 60, and his wife Justine born December 20, 1844 age 56
and they are living with a Mary Clement age 54 and single.
To look for your ancestors further, you might like to know that the 1911 census for Canada is now online, searchable by location at the National Archives website.

That’s all I havefor now. Good luck with your research.

I have a Robert D. Clement c 1796-1858 married to Anna Rogers c 1802-1869. I show three children: Rev. Elbert Clement, 26 Nov 1838-15 Jul 1914; Emily Clement 16 Dec 1836-26 Nov 1904; Daniel b. and d. unknown.
I do not have other children, but my records get sparse at this point in the family tree. I am descended from Emily, and have the children downstream in that line, but nothing upstream of Robert D.
Please contact me if you either have or want more information.

RE: The Marshallite, 1929 John Marshall High School yearbook (Richmond, VA)
Clement, Alvis Macon (Al)
This yearbook lists the members of the Senior class of 1929, faculty members, members of the Corps of Cadets, and many members of various clubs (not all). Unfortunately, it does not list the names of the members of the Junior, Sophomore or Freshmen classes (only officers listed for those classes).
I extracted all of the names (& some other information) from the yearbook & have put them on my genealogy web site (total of 13 web pages, containing over 1,900 records; sorted alphabetically by surname).
The link to the first page of these extracts on my web site is:
http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~sassytazzy/family/research/1929m...
Or it can be accessed through the "General Research" link on the main page at:
http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~sassytazzy/index.html
Please note that I put all kinds of genealogy information on my web site, not just data about the families I am researching. I hope the information I've put online helps someone with their research . . .
