Thank you Mary!
If the Clement's shown in the book, only covers family members with a residence in the US, then I'm out of luck, as my family's branch never immigrated to these shores.

I do have the book so if you have any names of Clement's that I could look up for you, I could do so.
The line starts back in the 1700's. THe names in Ontario start in 1784 in the Niagara region.
Several of the lines come down to the present.

I am a descendant of the Clement family who came from Germany to the New York state area in the early 1700'. and took part in the American Revolution as British Loyalists.
They came to Canada in 1784 after the revolutionary war.
There is a book on this family by Lenore Harris who lives in B.C. It was published by Pro Familia Publishing in Toronto in 2002. THe title is Clement Family History.
Lee Harris's address is 811 Deal St. comox, BC V9M 1B1
I hope this helps

I am interested in hearing from someone who may have researched my family's name, originating from its European roots (Germany and France).
Thank you!

This Isham Clement,b.abt 1805 was my Gr-Gr-Grandfather. His youngest son, Albert, was my Gr-Grandfather.
The 1860 Spartangurg, SC census shows Albert Clement @ 13 years old. We know that he was born in 1847, so this is him. Note that he had an older sister, Margaret, and an older brother, John. Doing the math would make John born in abt. 1842 and Margaret born abt.1844. His father, Isham (my gr-great grandfather born abt. 1805. His wife, Maria, born abt. 1806.
I know nothing of John and Margaret Clement or Maria's maiden name, But Albert Clement,b.April 05, 1847 had 9 children: Mary Ella Clement,b.December 10, 1869, Cassandra Medora Clement,b.February 19, 1871,Ida Clement,b.December 01, 1873, Elliot Oscar Clement,b.November 30, 1875, Eva Clement,b.April 23, 1878, Clara Lee Clement,b.February 28, 1881, Delos Eugene Clement,b.October 27, 1883, Anna B. Clement,b.December 08, 1886, Lora Amelia Clement,b.(unknown)
Delos Eugene Clement was my grandfather and had 2 children:
Lynde DeLos Clement,b. March, 19,1913 (my father) and Lora Clement (Macfarland),b. unknown.
Can anyone help me with this Isham's line? His wife, Maria's maiden name? John's children or Margaret's children?
Thanks in advance!
