Sorry, your Joseph isn't mine. Since I've posted this message I have found out more "stuff", his father was named Michele Clemente, from Campobasso, came here in 1880's. They changed the name to Clement to seem more "American" and less Italian. If you do run across any info about mine, please pass it on and I'll do the same.

Hi Mary - Do you have anything on Joseph or Thomas Clement? I'm looking for information pertaining to Thomas A. Clement (1882-1958) born in Michigan. He was married to Myrtle Leone Tracy. I believe he was a teacher and/or superintendent of schools in Buffalo. Also I am looking for information on Joseph C. Clement(s), Thomas's father. The Joseph C. Clement that I have was born May 30, 1849 in Canada. He worked in a sawmill in Bay County, MI. He died February 2, 1912 and he and his wife were buried in Mansfield, PA. He was married to Melissa Cle(a)veland.
Thanks

Hello List: ... I am desperately seeking any clues whatsoever on my Grandmother's parentage. She was born 12 Feb. 1882 at Mount Pleasant, near Brantford Ontario Canada. She was named JOSEPHINE ELIZABETH CLEMENT, but known as "Jessie" throughout her life.
In Feb/Mar.of 1901 she married Alfred Marandus RIDDOLLS, of Brantford, Ont. They were married somewhere in/near Timmins, Ontario. Years of searching have produce not one record of this lady's marriage, or birth. Her dod is known. She died Dec.1958. There were 7 children born to Jessie CLEMENT and Alfred RIDDOLLS. On the 1901 census taken shortly before she was married, she was living at Mt. Pleasant Road, at the home of James SHAPLEY, 71yrs. She was a seamstress, age 19.
Can anyone provide any further info to help me find her background?? All I know from the census is she was of English ancestry. Help would be VERY appeciated!

My George ran away at a very young age. Somewhere between 12 and 14. I don't have any real information on my George but he lived out most of his life in South Dakota and Nebraska. He was my GGrandfather but even my Grandmother, his daughter, didn't know very much about him. Maybe you could share what you have. Please feel free to email me direct at jindrald(a)yahoo.com. Thank you very much for your reply.
