Don,
I have the Probate record of John D.Clement of Sauk county Wisconsin. He had twelve children all are listed. I am looking for Stephen Clement, who came from New York with his wife Phebe Walker and their family. They settled in Sauk county for a while. Some of the children went back to Jefferson County, New York and some stayed. If these are your relatives let me know and I will send you the information I have on them.

Hi Zuline,
I'm sorry but I do not have any info on the names you list. My research is primarily on my Babb line and my mother's line which is Humphreys. One of her brother's married a CLEMENT and I was trying to find a little info on her.
Regards,

My GGGrandmother's name was Arcada Brewer, I have found her with her daughter Emily in the 1880 Pike Co. MS census. the names are the same and Arcada or Arcadia is not that common. I have been looking for her family for several years. Not having a Maiden name to go with I have been stumped. I sure hope you can help me.
Yours Truly,
Zuline

Between 1865-1882 Elizabeth, Alfred, Theodore, Joseph, Emma, Margaret, Henry, Remy and Anna were born to Ludger Dupuie and Julia Meloche (spelling may be wrong on his first name and her last. Or they may not even be the right people.
Some of the children were born in Michigan, some in Canada (Ontario or Quebec are best bets)
The children went on to marry John Nelson, Clem DeBeau, James Witt and not sure if the other girl is really related.
The Grandchildren have names spelled Dupuie, Dupey, Dupy etc. so by the 1920's cantact was lost among many.
Some of the families moved to the downriver area below Detroit. If you know of, heard of, or met anyone that resembles a Dupuis from anywhere near Standish Michigan, contact me about the family reunion this summer.
Any other research that has covered this family (especially from Canada) will be appreciated
Ted
