Your post is old and not updated, so I don't know if you have this information.
Your Toussaint Clement can be found on the 1881 Canada Census Quebec, Maskinonge County at www.familysearch.com.
He is also in the 1861 Canada Census, Quebec, Maskinonge, St Justin, page 160, line 2. This census is on the Family History Center(LDS) tape FHL # 517393. There are other Clements on this page. They have other census years for Canada.
>From this census I would guess your ggrandfather was baptised in St Justin recorder start at 1858.
Cann't locate his marriage in the following marriage book:
St Joseph parish (Maskinonge twp)
St-Antonine-deRiviere-du-Loup parish( Louisville twp)

Searching for information on Caroline Clement of Ontario; she was a younger orphaned cousin of the famous author Mazo de la Roche and became her lifelong partner. They apparently adopted two children in the 1930's - not sure if it was in Europe or Canada and lived in Canada - toronto area after the second world war.
I am trying to fill in the stories in my family forest and this one is drawing a blank.
