Does anyone have in their tree, a Georg Clement from Prussia, Germany who came to the US before 1847, when his son John was born in New York City? He was married to Elisabeth Kirchapner (sp?).

Hello all,
I am a new subscriber to this list and was wondering if anyone might be able
to help with the following.
I'm helping my wife's cousin's wife with her Clement ancestry. During the
course of the research, we have noticed there seems to be an armorial
attached to the name. I was hoping to get some verification of this and if
possible a heraldic description of the armorial.
She is descended specifically from Robert Clement (m. 3.DEC.1652 Elizabeth
Fane/Fawne) through their son John (m. Eliz. Ayer).
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks very much in advance,
Mike Szelog

Hi Bonnie, what was August's parent's names? I'm searching for the line of Joseph and Clemence Clement. Joseph was a shoemaker from France. They had several children, Joseph, Mary Caroline and August are the ones I remember off hand. From my research it looks like August was a Broussard to start with and took on the Clement name later. August was the oldest. Mary Caroline married someone at age 14, her husband was killed within a year then she married Michael H. Roache and that is where my line comes in. Joseph was a few years younger than Mary Caroline. August "Gus" died in Westlake, LA. in the 70's.
