Hi Wanda,
Yes, I do think that we have had contact before. I live in Southern California east of LA in Riverside. I went to VA about 7 years ago and saw the Clement Hill house. It was a rental then and in VERY bad condition. It was then owned by the English Construction Company. All this may have changed by now. Anyway I have had my DNA done by Ancestry dot com and 23andMe and another family finder group the name escapes me at the moment. Some of the contacts are right on and others for the life of me can't figure out how we are related. Take care
Tom

Hi Tom, I believe we have talked before. I am also descended from Benjamin and Adam Clement. My father and brother had their DNA tested and it came back to John of Hanover Co. So I am pretty sure we share some of the same genes. Don't you live very far away? I remember you traveled a long way to tour the Clement houses. Don't you just wish that some Clement in England would match our DNA and take us a bit farther back in our search? I keep hoping for that. Regards.
Wanda

My Clements began and mostly remained in Virginia, though I believe that some of them did migrate to Texas. My ancestor was also Benjamin Clement who married Susannah Hill. By DNA my line runs to John Clement of Hanover co. Va. If you , or your immediate ancestors haven't tried the DNA route , it might be fun to see who you connect to. Best regards Wanda Clement Isaacs

Hello all,
I was instructed to introduce myself after finally joining the mailing
list. My name is Justin Ernest Clement, I was using your notes years back
to do family research. My father was Jay Terrell Clement, his father was

any further records in front of me, but beyond that is all notes gathered
from places like this anyways. I do know I found this mailing list because
I traced my ancestry back to at least Benjamin (with varying levels of
proof/accuracy). I was born in 1987 in Fort Worth, TX, my father in I
believe 1953 in Fort Worth, my grandfather in either Era or Pilot Point, TX
and his father I believe the same. Thank you all so much for your notes, I
look forward to further discussion.
Thank you,
