Bobby: I'm another subscriber descended from Anne Clement and John Pigg.
Their son Hezekiah Ford Pigg married Elizabeth Nash;
their son John Pigg married Polly King;
their daughter Elizabeth H. Pigg married Richard Dennis Gregory;
their son Thomas Adolphis Gregory married Mary Catherine Griggs
all of the above lived in Pittsylvania County, Virginia
my grandfather, Thomas Hutcherson Gregory married Sally Richard Easley
my mother, Mildred Easley Gregory married LeRoy Harrison Richards
I'm William Gregory Richards and can be contacted at wgrphilly(a)email.com
I noted your other ancestrial lines and may share the lines of Osborne, Taylor, and Maddox.
By the way, do you have any evidence of the middle name "Ghent" for John Pigg?
It has been circulated freely, but to my knowledge on one has a real reference or knows where it started. The best explanation I've seen is that someone saw a listing "Pigg, John Gent" where "gent" was really an abbreviation of "gentleman" and it was interpreted as a middle name.

Hello Casandra Clements,
I hope I have your correct email address.
I am intrigued by your e-mail to CLEMENT-Benjamin-L(a)rootsweb.com, in
which you said you have some family pictures (the earliest one is of
Jane Mullins Clements, wife of Mayo).
I too am a descendant of Mayo and Jane Clements, and have documented the
descendants to date of his son Bedford Booker Clements and wife Jane
Blanks. I would like very much to see the picture of Jane Mullins when
you have it posted to your web address. Please let me know when this is
complete.
Do you also have information to share on the ancestry of Jane Mullins?
I only know she was daughter of James Mullins, deceased, at time of her
marriage.
Descendants of the other sons of Mayo Clements, and I, all use the same
genealogy program - PERSONAL ANCESTRAL FILE - and we have exchanged
electronically the results of our individual research. I had
previously researched and documented the ancestors of Mayo Clements back
to William Clement Sr (d 1760), which I shared with them. I've also
shared it with Marna Clemons and the CLEMENTS website referred to above.
I'm excited with the possibility to learn more about Jane Mullins, and
look forward to hearing from you.

Just a comment that the John R. Clement in Isham's will was more likely his
son, John Rudd Clement. I don't believe Isham, Jr. had a brother named John.

Wow, Bruce, we're pretty close on the family tree. So that's where
Elizabeth ended up. Do you know where the John E Coleman Cemetery is?
I am descended from Elizabeth Booker Clement and Alexander Coleman's
daughter Mariah Henry Coleman (who married a "Thomas Smith" from
Virginia -- that's a line that I'll probably never figure out).
I'm sending you the information that I have on the Coleman line. Sorry if
it's too much info. If you have any info to fill in gaps or seems in
conflict with this, please let me know:
[There may be a Robert Coleman Sr, who died before March 21, 1765, to start
this line out, but I'm not sure enough to list him]
1. Robert Coleman, born: unknown; died: unknown [may be able to derive his
death date from the record of his will]
Married 8-13-1762 in Edgecombe Co NC to Sarah (O'Quinn) Story (widow);
born unknown; died unknown
2. John E. Coleman; born: unknown; died: unknown
Married 6-7-1799 in Edgecombe Co. NC to Rebeccah (var: Rebekah)
Dancy; born unknown; died 1811 [father is Archibald Dancy; never did
identify her Mother]
3. Alexander "Sandy" Coleman; born: abt 1804 in Edgecombe Co, NC;
died about 1874 in KY;
Married 11-4-1829 in Livingston Co., KY to Elizabeth Booker
Clement, born about 1807.
Alexander Coleman served as Deputy Sheriff in Crittenden Co, KY
and worked with Isham Clement Jr, who was magistrate and then Sheriff in
Livingston [now Crittenden Co.] KY
3. Henry Richard Dancy Coleman; born: 6-29-1800 in Edgecombe Co, NC;
died: 12-27-1867 in Crittenden Co, KY
Married Narcissa (Miles) Stewart,widow of Milton Stewart
3. Catharine Coleman; born 9-8-1806 in Edgecombe Co, NC; died
4-3-1863 in Crittenden Co, KY
Married in 1819, in Livingston Co KY, 2nd spouse: Sarah Terry, born:
1793 or 1795; died 1864 (daughter of Thomas Terry, Sr.
3. Mary Ann Coleman, born: 1819, died 1863.
Married Jonathan O. Rutter
3. Robert William Coleman, born: 1822, died: 1871.
Married Martha Ann Green, born: 1826, died: 1826-1895.

Here is an abstract of Isham Clement's will I found in a publication noted

This is how it will appear in the soon to be mailed "The Chapel Hill

For those of you who are doing research in the Pendleton District of SC, the following is from the Pickens Co., SC Cemetery vol. one: Lathem Family Cemetery, James H. Clement b: 26 Jan 1806 d: 24 Oct 1889 ; Susan Clement d: 2 Apr 1876 AGED: 65 Y 3m 25d (therefore b: 9 Dec 1810). There is also a Salathiel Clement b: 26 Oct 1851 d: 3 Jan 1897. these individual are burried together, and it would appear that Susan is the wife of James H. Clement. James could be the son of Isham Clement. Others families burried in the cemetery are: Phillips, Lathem, Holcombe, Kenemore, and Bockman. Hope this information is of assistance to someone.
