Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
I am sorry, but I just noticed you Foster listed on here, someone wrote me
yesterday about a Foster marriage with Lucy Clements. Do you know anything
about that connection? Thanks, Cindy

Greetings. I am new to the list, and am researching two of my
wife's Clement lines. The first line looks as follows. All locations
are in Spartanburg, SC unless otherwise specified.
Wiliam Jason Wall, (1871-1947) m. Mary Ann Cantrell, his parents were
Zachariah Walker Wall (1851-1928) m. Jane Hall, his parents were
Elias Wall (1810-) m. Eliza Foster, his parents were
Zachariah Wall (1784 Wilkes Co, NC - 1856) m. Oney Clement, HER parents were
Edmund Walker Clement (1759 VA - 1845 Sptbg, SC) m. Elizabeth Harris
William Clement Jr (d. 1766 VA) m. Ann Walker
William Clement (1680 VA - 1760 VA) m. Anne Taylor
My wife's other Clement line has an Elizabeth Clement who m. George Wolf(e) in SC.
Someone gave me information that Elizabeth's parents are thought to have been
Edward Clement (b. 1780) who m. Margaret Montgomery. Edward came from
Amelia Co, VA to Spartanburg, SC where he married Margaret, then later went on to AL.
The people that I have seen researching this Edward don't know of a daughter Elizabeth,
so I'd appreciate any information either proving or disproving this connection.

Greetings Fellow Subscribers!
Can anybody identify the parents/ancestors of Nannie A. Clement, who married
Benjamin F. Tardy of Campbell Co., VA in January, 1863? (sorry, I don't
have the county of marriage handy)
Thanks in advance for any help.
