Hello Marna or anyone else that can help!
A while back, when I was on the list as MurChrTrFm(a)aol.com, there was a
survey to see where the descendants of Benjamin Clement have gone. Does
anyone know where I can find those results? TIA!
Beth

I am trying to locate a Charles "Buddy" Clements, son of
Charles Cleveland Clements born during the 1940's in
Birmingham, Alabama. It might well be that Charles is a
Junior. Charles would be my first cousin whom I have not
seen since before he was a teenager. Any one knowing Buddy,
would you please have him contact me at either of the
following;

There is no emergency or unprobated will, I just would like
to make contact with him.
Thanks to you all and
Have a Happy New Year.
Yesterday I had a FIRST after 25+ years of reading us federal census
returns.
In the 1880 census of Fannin County, Texas
Jo Ann -- was a 44 year old white female born in Ireland, listed as head of
household and widowed.
then followed a daughter age 20, a daughter age 18, a son age 16, a son age
14, a daughter age 10, a son age 7 THEN
a white male aged 44 listed as HUSBAND and married!!
then for the husband under the disability column was his condition
"DEAD". In checking the mortality schedule, sure enough he had died in May
1880 and the census instructions were to list everyone in the household as
of April 1, 1880.
I would certainly count "DEAD" as a disability!

I received the following obituary in my Christmas card from Katie's husband:
" A funeral service for Katie Clement McMurrey, 86, at Tampa, will be held at 2:00 P. M. Monday in the funeral home chapel. Rev. A. Kenneth Earnest, of Palma Ceia Baptist Church will officiate. Mrs. Mc Murrey was born in Lamesa, TX.....was a member of Palma Ceia Baptist church, pat president of the Florida Genealogical Society, the originator and assistant editor of Florida Genealogical Journal." Katie died on 14 October 1999. Was printed in a Tampa newspaper. Katie was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Happy Holidays!
I haven't been a member of this group very long, but I've been wondering why there has been no activity on this List since mid-November.
Is that unusual? Or, has everyone (including me) set their research aside until the Holiday Season is over?
Hope everyone has a Happy, Safe and Enjoyable Holliday.

high-profile viruses, ExploreZip is
a worm capable of
sending itself out and appearing to
come from a known
e-mail correspondent. The virus
itself arrives as an
attachment with the filename
zipped_files.exe. The body
of the e-mail message will likely
contains the following text:
"I received your email and I
shall send you a reply
ASAP. Till then, take a look at the
attached zipped
docs."
If a recipient is duped into
opening the attachment, the
virus will attempt to delete all
Microsoft Office documents
on the local hard drive and on all
mapped network file
shares. The virus will then
automatically send itself to all
senders listed in the victims
e-mail Inbox. It is so nefarious
that it can even delete the files
of a user whose antivirus
software is updated to defend
against it. Any user whose
computer is shared on a network is
vulnerable.
Corporations still beating
back the worm
There have already been
victims.
Three Fortune 500 companies
have reported to this to
us as well as a host of smaller
companies, said Dan
Schrader of anti-virus firm Trend
Micro. He said several
companies suffered serious data
loss.
The first time around this
virus infected ten of
thousands of computers, maybe
hundreds of thousands, and
did millions of dollars in damage.
It probably did more
damage than any other (computer
virus). This probably
wont be as bad as that, but we
expect a lot of damage.
Were taking it very seriously.
Researchers at Symantec say
nine of their Fortune 500
clients have already been
victimized by the worm, and they
expect it to spread even more
quickly as tomorrows
business day begins.
