Dear family
I'm new to your group and I just want to say thanks for your wonderful hospitality and sharing you family infomation with me. Did I miss anyone on my email list? Let me know.
I have reviewed your emails the GenForum, Roots list archive and my own notes. I know I have some more stuff coming, I hope, and thought I would start a list of early occurrence, and places to check for our Seth and Sarah in Records and literature. Creating a list of facts
should help us see where we should be looking and draw better conclusions. And Maybe you guys can do some further checking of your personal files to further fill out our list.

3. October 19, 1999...I have come across three different sources
while searching that indicates the connection. I know there is a Richardson
Bible in my family but have yet been able to look at it...at least three of
their children have shown up indicating the marriage of Sarah Cleland and
Seth Richardson. My records show Seth Richardson is the son of Josephus?...

7. "Seth Richardson, the father of our subject, was a native of Vermont, where he was reared to manhood and married Miss Sabra Cleland. In 1801, they removed to Chautauqua County, NY, during the period of its earliest settlement. The father secured a tract of heavily
timbered land from the Government, where he cleared a farm and built up a good homestead, upon which the family lived until Norman B., our subject, was a lad twelve years of age. Then, selling out, they removed to Portland, N. Y., on the Lake Erie shore, where the death of
his father took place after he had attained the advanced age of eight-one years. The wife and mother had passed to her rest thirty years before. They were good people in the broadest sense of the term, faithful and conscientious as parents, generous and charitable as
neighbors, and greatly respected by all who knew them. Josephus Richardson, the paternal grandfather of our subject was a native of Vermont." Page 35
8. They had seven children (letter of Clara Belle Mix Bray, dated 27 Aug. 1892). Oldest child known was Norman B. born Oct. 7, 1815; then Nancy; Harriet, 1821; Mary Etta 1822; M. W. (Wilder?) 1823; George 1826. Nancy lived in Corry, Erie Co, PA.
