"lost gardens laid out many hundreds of years ago "for the honourable delight of body and soul". This is a quote from a new book been published about gardens in Scotland this week ~ all i can say is, this quote is so fitting too for your ancestors. From the research i've done so far on Archibald's father Thomas Cleghorn ~ he had a tremendous vision for creating gardens and obviously his talents were passed on.
