I had gotten an extensive family tree on the clegg's from someone on here before and have since lost it due to my computer crash. If anyone has it could you please email it to me. my husbands dad was william arthur clegg, his was arthur ellwood clegg, his was james clegg, then benjamin franklin clegg. If these names sound familiar to someone and you have the family tree, please email me. Thanks, Lisa Clegg
Im researching Belton Family. Believe the name may have been Fuast. In an
old family bible it is written in an old German script so Im not sure of
spelling. Among all the Beltons are the names; John Henry Clegg, born Dec.
2,1862; died April27, 1873 and Elizabeth Ann Clegg born March 6, 1863. These
appear maybe to be related to Charles William Belton of Randolph Co. IL.
Born 1856. not sure how. No other Cleggs listed in Bible nor in family lore.
Does anyone have a connection here?
