Where? You did not specify where you found this grave. The dates on it or any info that can be traced. Please let me know the nearest point of local.

I have just acquired a copy of the marriage certificate of my Granduncle John Clegg, born Fermanagh August 2, 1878, married Nora Beatrice Hilditch in Kingston, Surrey, England, in 1947. John declared himself to be 66 years old and Nora 45. I already knew this information.
However I did not know that John had been married before!
On the marriage certificate John declared that he was "Formerly the husband of Alice Elizabeth Diomeda Clegg, formerly Clegg, widow, from whom he obtained a divorce".
Has anyone ever come across Alice?
(The 'Diomeda' may not be quite right; it's almost impossible to read).
Thanks,
Robert Bell.

Which Chesley D. Clegg, born 1808, 1836, 1903, or 1910? Please send me more
information.
Jerry Blaylock
Ray, that is great! Can you give directions? (just in case any of
his Texas descendants--and there are many--ever want to find it) Is
it on private land? Did the marker have an inscription? Did you make
a photo? Were there any other graves nearby? Full of questions,
aren't I? Many thanks for sharing!
Best regards, Pat

Seek contact with descendants and family of William CLEGG, s/o Nathaniel CLEGG & Ann LEAF; William was born in Hull and died in Springville. Had, among others, daughters Emily & Lillian.
Further back in the CLEGG tree is the BIRK family of Crofton. I am connected with that BIRK family and would welcome correspondence on these lines.
Thanks!
