OK, I'll take a whack at this, although all of my information is second-hand and unverified.
This Jesse Cleaver is yet another descendent of Peter Cleaver, one of the early settlers in Germantown, PA. The line from Peter Cleaver to Jesse is:
Peter Cleaver m. Catherine Schumacher
John Cleaver m. Elizabeth Levering
John Cleaver m. Sarah ???
Isaac Cleaver m. Mary Davis
John Cleaver m. Lucy Ann Reigel
Jesse Y. Cleaver m. Sarah Yeager
The Isaac Cleaver link may be questionable - apparently there's more than one Isaac Cleaver in roughly the same time and place that have sometimes been confused with each other.
My ggg-grandfather Jesse Benjamin Cleaver may also be a son of this Isaac Cleaver (or one of them, at any rate).
My notes say that there's a wedding notice for Jesse Y. Cleaver and Sarah Mary Yeager in the 25 Jan, 1867 edition of the Columbia Sentinel (Columbia county, PA), and that the wedding took place on 10 Jan 1867. I think you can get a copy of this or something like it from the Columbia County Historical & Genealogical Society:
http://www.colcohist-gensoc.org/mysql/marriagesources.php
I have Jesse's birthdate listed as 20 Feb 1847, died 23 Nov 1910 in Mt. Carmel, Northumberland co, PA. (again, I don't have a source for this, but the 1910 census does show Jesse Y. Cleaver age 63 living in Mt. Carmel).
Hope this helps,
Darren Price
