Good Evening,
Peter Cleaver and Sarah Bacon are in my direct line, however, I've been unable to find primary sources or any hard confirmation of their marriage. I understand that Peter was "disowned" (I believe that is the correct term) from the Quaker, Abington Monthly Meeting for his marriage outside of the church.
I have photos of the Hickory Grove headstone of Peter Cleaver and "Sarah" if anyone is interested. (email direct to davidso1(a)ix.netcom.com).
Any assistance on documentation would be greatly appreciated.

New to this list.
I wonder if anyone can help me trace the ancestors of my great grandmother, Emily Sophia HUMPHRIES, born June 1866, Kensington, London.
Her parents were William Humphries, born Woolwich, Kent 1828 and Ann Eliza, formerly CLEAVER, born Wakefield, Yorkshire 1835.
They also had James, born Hampton Wick, Middlesex registered Kingston, Surrey 1858; Thomas born Sneinton Nottingham 1860; Frances born Kensington 1862 - all baptised Notting Hill 1864; Grace born Kensington 1870; and Rose born Kensington 1874.
Ann Cleaver might have been the sister of Charles, Alfred and Alonzo all born London sons of William and Sophia Cleaver. Sophia was born York 1806.
If any of these names mean anything to anyone please let me know so that we can exchange. At present I am searching for the marriage of William Humphries and Ann Eliza Cleaver.
Thank you

Think I left out the Peter/Sarah Bacon generation in my family line, attempted in the previous message...sorry- I have been focusing on which Garrison/Garretson family did my Hannah Cleaver (abt 1787/1864) of Elsinborough, Salem Cty NJ marry into.
Hannah's mom, Jemima Draper married third an Annanias Garrison, and her daughter married a Garrison about 1 year later (after mom's 3rd marriage)-- but the pieces still don't fall together...
