My two cents,
Peter Cleaver came from Frankfort-on-the-Main, Germany, and joined the William Penn Colony in Pennsylvania. Married Catherine Shoemaker at Abington Meeting House near Jenkenstown, now in the suburbs of Philadelphia, third month, twentyseventh day, 1695. Their children:

Born 06.12.1878 at Glympton d.13.8.1926. He was my Grandmothers brother. Would like to hear from his family.
Hi,
I am looking for my English CLEAVER connections......
I have an ancestor GEORGE CLEAVER who was tried at Warwick Assizes in August
1830 for stealing a quanity of leather from a Samuel WOOD.
His convict records indicate that he was a native of Leicestershire or
Warwickshire in England.
He is said to have been born c1813 and was consistently Church of England.
Although listed as Native of Leicestershire on some records his convictions
for offences in
Nueaton sugged that he may have been from the Parish of Hickley
Leicestershire which abuts the parish of Nuneaton in Warwickshire. On one
of his dauthers birth certificates (who he called Catherine) it states he
was born in Warwickshire. I have been unable to find parents for my
George???? (There is mention of a George Whitehead? and Mary CLEAVER) So he
may have been born out of wedlock??
George CLEAVER married an Eliza TAYLOR here in Australia (1840) and had
Issue: (1841 - onwards - George, Jane, Thomas, Sarah, Ann, Robert, Eliza,
John, Maria,
My Grandma was Lillian May Cleaver and I have a photo of her IF you have
come
across my George Cleaver in your reasearch or think there are connections I
would like to know more. Thanks in advance.
