Been kinda quite lately..... I am still searching for Jesse Clevelands parents and while I was doing some filing tonight and I stumbled across and wondered if any CLEVELAND hunters ever pondered an 1830 Franklin County, Ill Census entry. ( I am looking for some crosstalk here if there is any....:-)
CLEAVELAND, EVEN
2 Males 15-20 1 Female 40-50
1 Male 10-15 1 Female 10-15
For those of you who know the quartet (Jesse, Evan, Andrew J. Mahla)....
Mind you I have no prood here but consider the CLE(A)VELAND possibilities....
2 Males 15-20 (b:1810-1815) Even (Evan?) and a brother Jesse?
1 Male 10-15 (b:1815-1820) Andrew J. ?
1 Female 40-50 (b:1780-1790) A widowed mother?
1 Female 10-15 (b:1815-1820) Mahala (the older)
I don't have a birthday for Evan but I bet someone out there has a guess.
I have Jesse b:1810-1817 (from 1850/60/70 censuses)
I have Andrew J. b:1820 (from an e-mail)
I have no b: for Mahala but the one I am thinking of married Nathaniel Jones b:1810 (another email) so about this lady is about the right age.
Anyone know of a married male CLE(A)VELAND b: circa 1780-1790 lived in/passed through Tennesse(?) that might have passed on about oh...say about 1820-1830ish? Might have been married to the 40-50 year old lady here.
Heck...if anyone could DISPROVE this it would be a help....
punt!,

2001 Family Reunion
It's that time! The reunion will be here before you know it. The
place is Moab Utah. The date is June 15 & 16, 2001, at Old City
Park.
This will be a very special reunion for me. As I'm sure you've all
heard my Dad (Thomas Cleaveland) passed away May 10, 2000. I
know all of you that knew him knows just how special he was. We
are going to bury his ashes at the foot of Grandpa and Grandma
Cleaveland's grave, (as he requested) before the reunion Saturday.
Let us do whatever we can do to make this a reunion to remember.
The head of each family has the responsibilty to make sure that
each member of their family are informed and encouraged to attend
the reunion. So, let's make copies of this letter and get them sent
out to everyone.
Don't forget the RAFFLE. Handmade items if possible. I know we
have a lot of talented peopple in our family.
