Hello,
I'm looking for information on a family named CLEVELAND that lived at
Kinney's Four Corners. Kinney's Four Corners was the name of a crossroads
in the northwest corner of the Town of Hannibal, N.Y, at the crossroads of
Route 104 and Parsons and Cooper Roads.
I have two people that named CLEVELAND from that area that I believe may be
sisters.
The first is Alice A. CLEVELAND. She was born 10 April 1829, Granby, Oswego
Co., N.Y. She married 27 January 1850 at Kinney's Four Corners, N.Y., John
EATON, Jr., the son of John and Mary EATON. John was born 11 December 1822,
England, died 21 September 1865, Kinney's Four Corners, N.Y. They were
married by the Rev. F. Armstrong.
I also have an Eliza CLEVELAND. She was born 1830, died 1902. She married
first Abram SHUTTS, the son of John SHUTTS and Maria MILLER. Abram was born
20 February 1826, died 27 July 1871. After Abram died, Eliza married his
brother Jonas SHUTTS on 17 October 1883. Jonas was born 18 March 1814, died
10 August 1897. Jonas and Eliza SHUTTS lived at Kinney's Four Corners.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
John Bogdal
