To Gloria:
Gloria, My great-grandfather's brother's name was Charles Edgar
Cleveland. He was born in 1862, married to Lora Ann Thayor. They had a
daughter, Ida V. Cleveland, born August 1898 (approximately). Not sure
if this might be the Ida you are looking for. Let me know!

Looking for information on Nancy Cleveland who was married to Benjamin
Franklin Cleveland. They were in Harris County Georgia in the early
1830's. It is said that Benjamin died 1858 (probably Harris County) and
Nancy in 1891 (unk). I am trying to establish if Nancy was from the same
Norris line as was my 2nd great grandfather, William Hutchinson Norris
(Dallas & Monroe County Alabama) who migrated to Brazil following the
Civil War. Any information will be greatly appreciated and I am more
than willing to share information....docjones
Does anyone have any information that would lead one to believe that
there were two Benjamin Franklin Clevelands, both of whom married a
different Nancy Norris in Georgia around 1830-1835. A word of caution
in that area appears in a book written by Harry Davis about the Norris
family, but I have not been able to locate but one couple with those
names...Any help or input will be greatly appreciated. Docjones,
Melbourne, Fl
I am looking for the names of parents of William B. CLEVELAND,bn 2 Oct.
1811 who married Julie Ann or Julian THURMAN, bn 1 Jun 1811. They were
married 24 Dec. 1833 in Carroll Co. GA.
Any help would be appreciated.

Barbara,
Thank you for your response regarding Tamerson. Another person has emailed me
offering to send photocopies of the pages, and know I finally have the "missing
link" of my family confirmed.
I will be unsubscribing now to this forum. The Cleveland connection is not in
my direct ancestry. But I do want to thank all Clevelands who were kind enough
to respond to my plea. Thanks!
Phil
My name is C B Jones, Melbourne Fl and this is my first posting on the
Cleveland site. I am looking for information on the marriage between
Benjamin Franklin CLEVELAND and Nancy NORRIS that occurred in Harris
County GA abt 1832. I have been informed that there is a family Bible,
once owned by "Miss Olive Cleveland" who may have been a grand daughter,
and therein, it lists the names of the siblings of Nancy Norris. This
is a source of great interest to me and I would like to locate the Bible
in order that I might communicate with it's current owner. Anyone
having suggestions will be most welcome. Thank you in advance..docjones
Phil, your Tamerson is in the Cleveland Genealogy because she was the second
wife of Dr. Elisha LORD, who marr 1) Alathea RIPLEY, who d 1762. He marr 2)
Mrs. Tamerson (Kimball) COIT, w. of Daniel COIT. By his 2nd marr. he and
Tamerson had dau Experience , who marr Nehemiah CLEVELAND.
I hope this helps you.
Best,
Barbara Armstrong Cleveland Cofer
Hi,
This is my first post to this list.
I have found a possible reference to an anestor via ancestry.com that is
listed in the following book:
"Genealogy of Cleveland and Cleaveland fams." By Edm. James Cleveland,
et al. Hartford, Ct, 1899. (3v.):358, 360
I would very much appreciate a lookup by anyone who has this book, and
would be happy to reciprocate with lookups from from Walker or Hutchins
Genalogies.
I have a Tamerson KIMBALL b. 1739 (MA) who married Daniel COIT in 1760
(CT)(he died in 1762). She then married Dr. Elisha LORD before 1769
(CT). The
Cleveland genealogy apparently has a Tamerson KIMBALL, a Tamerson COIT,
and a Tamerson LORD who I am presuming are the same person (if the last
2 names are
married names). I think from the reference that she is listed on pages
358 and 360. I have no idea why she is in a Cleveland genealogy and
would certainly be
interested in the CLEVELAND connection, as well as details about
Tamerson.
I believe that Tamerson is the daughter of Job Kimball (1702-1751) and
Mary Green.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In the name of God, Amen. I, BENJAMIN MOORE, of the town of Southold, Suffolk

all my lands, during her natural life, if she continues my widow, except the
lands hereafter mentioned. But if she marries, she shall have as the Law
directs. I leave to my wife all my movable estate, during her widowhood, and
she has power to give to my unmarried daughters, Rachel and Abigail, as she
shall think fit, and also to my daughter, Anna Cleveland. I leave to my son
Benjamin, the house where he now lives, and the land thereto appertaining, and
bounded southerly by the street, east by my own land, now in possession of the
widow Petty, north by a crossfence, at the north end of my orchard, and to
extend west so far as the east end of my garden. I also leave to my son
Benjamin, a debt which he oweth me, and I do acquit him from all debts due to
me from the beginning of the World, to the date of these Presents. I leave to
my son Matthew, all my land lying in Hallocks Neck, containing 9 Lots, bounded
partly by William Wells, partly by road, partly by Captain Reeve, partly by
Benjamin Reeve, and partly by land in the possession of Benjamin Woolly, and

bounded partly by a lane, partly by the street, partly by Benjamin
L'Hommedieu, and partly by land in possession of Joseph Moore. I also leave
him a gun, now in his possession. "And ye Acts of Assembly, Contained in a
Book lately purchased of William Bradford." I leave to my son James, a gun
which was purchased of Armstrong, and my Beetle and wedges. And my son, Israel

James, 5, to be paid by my son Micah. I leave to my son Israel, my dwelling
house, and orchard, and also a lot of land adjoining to my orchard to the
north, with all the buildings. Bounded south by the street, west by land
formerly of Samuel Derby and Thomas Young, north by my own land, divided by a
