Anyone have any information on a Rev. Monsignor Cleary, PP? He lived in Petaluma, CA and returned home to Adamstown, Co. Wexford before he died there. My great great great grandmother Elizabeth Mary Cleary (Doyle) was his sister in law from Whitechurch, Co. Wexford. Her husband was Patrick Cleary (died in 1907) She died in 1941 and her obituary lists him. I've come to a stand still on Elizabeth, but hoping that someone may have him in their tree and may be able to help each other out!

hi! I'm looking for my Cleary ancestors. My great grandfather, Pierce Francis Cleary was born around 1892 in Whitechurch, Co. Wexford. His parents were Patrick Cleary and Elizabeth Mary Doyle. His siblings: Marcella, Mary, James, Patrick, Walter, Simon, William, Phillip and Helena. Pierce came to Chicago and married Helena Lawless. They had my grandmother, Elizabeth (Betty) Cleary. When Helen died, Pierce moved back to Ireland, and died there. As my grandmother had passed in 2005, my father does not know much about her lineage.

hi there! you responded to my board post on Patrick Cleary in June 2012. I just picked up ancestry.com again. I think we're related! You said you have the obituaries? Patrick Cleary married Elizabeth Doyle, and had Pierce Francis (my great grandfather). Pierce had a lot of brothers and sisters (Walter, Marcella, Helen, Mary, William, Phillip, Simon, James). Pierce married Helena Lawless in Chicago. When Helen died, Pierce got remarried and moved back to Ireland. They were from Whitechurch, Co. Wexford. Can you email me? breyes(a)sdflaw.com
Sincerely,
Brittany
