My best friend was a WWII veteran who was born to the name of Eugene Patrick Cleary, in August of 1926.
He was adopted as an infant by Margarette Sweat and Robert Bodurtha and his name was changed to Paul Robert Bodurtha. He sought information on his parents his whole life and has just recently passed last October. Very sad. This blog reminded me of him.

Boxer Michael Cleary I wrote of is not of this family.
His parents were James & Elizabeth Cleary of County Queens.
A different Michael Cleary & wife Mary O'Brien are the parents of Wm Cleary Sr.
The James I wrote of is the son of Wm P Cleary Jr.
In his place is his uncle Emmet Cleary who died a single man.
Phil Kuehn
