My wife's family were Cleary's from Spaniards Bay. Do they tie into your tree?

I checked out the shipping records for Victoria, Australia, there is no evidence that Peter and Honorah emigrated to Victoria. It is possible that they went to another state.
Maurice came out to Melbourne, Australia in 1854 aboard the ship "Sultana". His name was spelt Clary in that instance. No other relatives on board.
A cousin of mine paid the Clare Heritage Centre to research this particular family in 1998. They didn't come up with anything.

It was my understanding that Honorah and family moved to Australia and possibly, later came to the US.

Sorry I don't know anymore about them or their family.
My information is all based on Maurice's marriage and death certificates. All they say is that Maurice came from Ennis, Clare. His father Peter was a farmer and his mother was Honorah Ladon. If I remember correctly Maurice was born in 1830.
There is a record of a Peter Cleary, farmer aged 81 living at Barnanageeha in the 1901 census. Possibly a son of Peter and Honorah. There were a few Leydens living near by Barnangeeha townland including a Maurice Leyden, that may be where my gx2 grandfather got his name.
What makes you think Peter and Honorah emigrated to Australia?
I have got a fair bit of information on Maurice Cleary and his descendents.

These people are my gx3 grandparents.
I am a descendent of their son Maurice who arrived in Melbourne, Australia in 1854 from Ireland.
As best I can work out they lived near Ennis in County Clare. Peter was a farmer, I think on the Townland of Barnageeha.
I didn't know they lived in Australia, I'll have to check that out.
