Hi Katherine,
We were in touch a while ago, but I'm still searching. I think the connection was our grgrgrandfather's were brothers. My grandfather was Edward, grgrandfather was Edward, grgrgrandfather William (married Catherine Larkins). I have found William on the 1850 US census living with his mother Ann, brother Thomas & sister Catherine prior to marrying Catherine Larkins. I think Ann was a widow - still trying to find husband's first name and also trying to get Ann's maiden name. According to census she was born @1805 and daughter Catherine was 7 in 1850, born in Ireland, so they came to Phila some time after 1843. All living in Northern Liberties section Philadelphia. I have records from Old St. Augustine's church. Have you any further info. Would appreciate it. Also, if you need any info, would love to share.
Regards, Marianne

They came from Ireland, but I have not exactly established which county they came from.

We have a whole line of Clearys that emigrated to India in the mid 1800s. I can share that info if you have Clearys in India as well.
thanks,
Jeff
