My family of McManaman's came from Tonatanvalley to the Lincoln, Nebraska area in the early to mid 1880's, and some, including my great grandfather, James, moved back to Cleveland later on. Perhaps they would have known each other.
I've got copies of records if you haven't seen the transcriptions Masterson did of parish and such.
Good luck!

Any Clearys from Kilfinnane, County Limerick?
I have Mary(Maria/Marian) Cleary who married Patrick Roche on 26 Nov 1868 in Kilfinnane Parish, Co. Limerick. The witnesses were Con (Connor?) Barrett & Helen Best.
Their children's baptisms were as follows:
David Roche 26 Apr 1871
Edward Roche 27 Aug 1873
Bridget Roche 6 Jan 1875
Patrick Roche 3 Sep 1876
John Roche 29 Jun 1879
Maria Ann Roche 20 Dec 1881
Helen Roche 13 May 1883
In Griffiths Valuation of 1848-1864 were listed:
Roche Patrick Kilfinnane Kilfinnane Limerick
Cleary John Kilfinnane Kilfinnane Limerick
I'm wondering if John could have been Mary's father and would like to make contact with any other Clearys from Kilfinnane.
Thanks. Jo

I am interested in Edward Spillane and Mary Cleary who probably married in 1860 in Silvermines RC parish. Their son Edward was born in 1871 and baptized in the RC parish of Nenagh. Most likely they had other children. Is anyone researching this family?
