As I said, I have no documentation other than the type-written history. Are your pamphlets such that they can be copied and transmitted? I wouldn't want you to go to a huge amount of work, but they would be interesting to see.
I will keep looking myself, and maybe you will also find something that will help us clarify this.
If you wish to correspond directly, my email is: rosican(a)bellsouth.net
Thanks for your response,
Rosemary

update: I looked at the second booklet that albert did in 1930 and he does have the Pool family mentioned there. Since I did not have any Pools in my direct line I had not looked at those pages but will do so now to see what I can find.

well a lot has changed on my information since 2004. Last year going through my grandmother's house I found two booklets by Albert Cleary (1st book 1929 & 2nd one in 1931) called Kings and Queens, a short account of some familes of the above counties in Ireland. In it is the Cleary's and the Craigs. It starts out with Pater Cleary b:Bet. 1694-1723 and married to Unknown spouse. They had 5 children one of course being Joseph Cleary b:Apr 10, 1745 and married to Unknown Warren and they had Joseph Cleary II or Jr if you will. I don't see any Joseph Warren or an Annie Craig in the Craig information I have either but I will look again as what you show does make sense. The papers I have on the Craigs were written by Pearl & Edith Guiler 1925-1926.

I have information on these Clearys but can't tell you what until I

Will get back to you late Sunday.

Thank you, Catherine. I look forward to that! Anne

The parents however are not Joseph Cleary and unknown Warren in my records. I have Joseph Warren Cleary (7 Nov 1745 - 12 Aug 1841, born and died in Ireland) and Annie Craig (12 May 1748 - 12 Mar 1815, both in Ireland). Joseph Warren Cleary's parents are William Pool Cleary and Margaret Warren.

She got the copy sometime in the 1960's. I do not know who compiled the history or when, but the most recent dates seem to be around the late 1930's. The oldest entries are for Arthur George MacKinder 1700 (paternal side) and William Pool Cleary 1720 (maternal side). I am anxious to find someone who can verify what the correct info is.

My Harrington ancestors also settled in Ansonia and one of my Great-grandfather's sisters Bridget Harrington married Edward Cleary brother of your John Vincent Cleary. Edward and Bridget moved to bridgeport, CT and had two children, James Francis and Mary Frances. Bridget unfortunately died in 1914 before her two children married in 1918. James eventually moved to Westchester County NY and had at least 2 sons. Mary married a John Casey and moved to Philadelphia and had at least two sons. Edward Cleary eventually moved to California and was the caretaker for an estate in Riverside in 1930. I have more info on the parents of John and Edward.
