I too am looking for some of the Cleary's Born in CT. My Grandfather is:
John Vincent Cleary(Brooklyn)
father: James (married Margaret Morrin)
James' father was JOHN (married Mary Hope)
Is a decendent of the Cleary's of Ansonia CT...JOHN, James, Matthew, Henry, Leo, William and Edward along with 2 sisters Teresa and Mary.
Several of the family worked at Ansonia Clock Co. and when the company moved to Brooklyn some moved with it including JOHN who was my grandfathers(John Vincent) great grandfather.
Could these be some of the same cleary's, I am searching for the ones that stayed in Ct. as I have never heard of or new any of them.
