You have already heard from my first cousin Janice. I agree that you have found the right line. My father's siblings were Walter, Mary, Frances, Sarah (Sally) and Joseph. What was/is your father's name?

I think that your grandfather was my grandfather's brother. His name was Eugene Joseph and he was born in 1895. My records indicate that he was the youngest of 11 children. His father's name was Walter (b. 1853) and he was married to Mary Ann Brennan (b. 1852). My father grew up in the Mt. Airy part of Philadelphia in the 1920s. Any family information that you have would be greatly appreciated.

Janice
I may also be related to you. My grandfather was Eugene Joseph Cleary and his father was Walter Cleary born in 1853. What is confusing to me is that you said your father, Joseph was the youngest and my records indicate that Eugene was the youngest. If these are the same person then you would be my aunt. However, to the best of my knowledge I never had an aunt Janice.
I would be vry interested in any ionformation that you may have about this Cleary family.
Joe Cleary
