I'm looking for any information on my great great grandmother's family. Her name was Catherine Cleary, mother was Catherine Nolan and father was James Cleary. They settled in Cornwall, Ontario upon their arrival from Westmeath, Ireland. Catherine was married to Thomas Dixon and had two children that I know of James and Edward Dixon. Catherine was born in 1822 in Ireland and had 2 sisters and three brothers. Please feel free to contact with any clues whatsoever. Thanks!

Joseph Cleary, II came to Canada from Ireland in the 1820's. He and his wife Elizabeth Egan stayed in Canada. They had 10 children. Their oldest son moved on to Noble County Ohio with many other Cleary's. I think the rest may have stayed in Canada, but not totally sure on that.
I have not followed the Canadian branch of the Cleary's because it is not my direct line, but know that they are related.
I have some names and dates, but they are not all verified and sourced. It may give you something to go on, however.

My Clearys come from King's County as well. I don't have very much information, but those names sound very familiar. Do you have any information on Canadian relatives?
