Hi there.
If you are doing lookups. My great grandfather was William, his
brother, Patrick born 1842 and ?? they came here to Marquette, Mich in
about 1867 or so..from Neenah, Tipperary. Their father was Denis and
their mother was Elizabeth Parker.
I would love to find siblings left over there. Is anybody from these
lines? I am sure they left many siblings.
Thanks for any help
Judy

Although the "Cleary News" newsletter was discontinued a while ago I would be happy to look up a Cleary name in the large "Cleary Index" of names of hundreds of Clearys and their researchers published in the journal over the 15 years of its publication. We have a few copies of the Index still available for sale.
I've studied the Clearys in New York in the nineteenth century and have come across many CLEARY names there. A map has been prepared showing many of these Manhattan families. The map is also available for sale.

In pursuing a Mahoney family of Shullsberg, Milwaukee and brother Monsignor William Mahoney of Madison, I have found a sister of Father Wm married to a Hugh Cleary. The Clearys lived near the Columbia Hospital in Milwaukee. I do not know her first name yet as there were several sisters.
There is another sister Mrs KT McCormick of Madison. Also, there were two brothers John and Thomas Mahoney of Milwaukee. I found their tracks in a city directory of earlier year. Fr. Wm died in February 1952 and info on his siblings came from his obit. The Mahoney parents were Thomas R and Hannah McCauliff Mahoney who moved to Miliwaukee from Shullsberg in early 1900s. Thanks for any direction on this family
