Our Thomas Cleary was born 29 Sep 1854. That's all the info I currently have, but I don't think we are talking about the same Thomas.

My gggrandfather was Thomas Cleary who married Margaret Carney. I know of two children they had, Charles {my ggrandfather} and Thomas. For some reason my gggrandmother remarried sometime around 1870. My ggrandfather Charles was born in 1865. Do you have any further information on Thomas?

Hi, I am looking for Clearys in Troy, New York. Do you have anything on your Mr. Cleary? Mine is Mary Cleary born in Ireland (do not know where) who married James O'Brien.
They had a son James J. or H. (I've seen both initials listed) b. in 1863 in Troy who married Theresa Cloonon in 1884 in New York City. There children were Mary, Theresa, Catherine, Helen, Margaret, Cecilia, John, Joseph and James H.
I do not know when Mary's son came to NYC or if he came with his parents or any siblings he might have had.
Please contact me if you have any info that will help. Thank you.

There was a Thomas among the twelve Cleary children, but he was born in 1854, which would make him only 16 in 1870. So, sorry, I don't think this will be a link.

Although I do have a Thomas Cleary, he should have been born around 1885. He
was reported to be 16 in 1901 census
