Hello,
I'm the nephew of Eugene A Clearwater. I'm trying to locate information on Jacob D Clearwater (father of William Clearwater 1825-1903). I show Jacob's birth year was roughly 1788...are you aware of who the parents were? Also, it appears that our surname may have changed in spelling around this time which might be why I'm having trouble locating info(?). Just thought I would check.
Thanks so much!

Hello,
I'm the nephew of Eugene Clearwater. My grandparents were Berneda and George E. I'm trying to find any additional info on the Clearwater family. I have gone back pretty far but would like to know who Jacob D Clearwater's (born 1778) father was...Jacob D fought in the War of 1812. My great grandfather's name was Jacob Erastus Clearwater (born 1867). Thanks!
