Just a note to let you know that my grandmother Lily (Harvey)
Clayworth died tonight.
My Dad just called me (9:30 p.m. EST - 2:30 a.m. Uk time). He told me
his mother died earlier in the night so I'm not sure if she actually
died January 31st or February 1st, I guess I'll find out later.
She will be buried with my grandfather, George Robert Clayworth and
their daughter Josephine Jayne who died has an infant in 1951 in
Woodlands, Doncaster, Yks.

Just a note to explain to you the difference between the GenConnect Surname
Board and the mailing list.
1. GenConnect Boards are places for more permanent data.
2. If it is something to be discussed or replied to, it should be sent to
the list.
3. If it is something that is more or less permanent, such as posting of
Wills, Deeds, Bios, etc, then post to the Board.
4. Or if you have a "dead end" or "brick wall" and you want it to remain
accessible indefinitely then post it to the Board.
Take care
Jayne
Hi Everyone,
I need some feedback please.
Would anyone mind if I subscribed this mailing list address to the
GenConnect Surname Board notification option? What this means is that if
anyone posts anything to the Clayworth GenConnect Surname then a
notification will go out to everyone on this list.
Thanks
Jayne
This was posted to my Lancsgen list. Thought that you might be interested
in checking it out for yourselves.

Just a note to let you know that my electricity (hydro) is going to be on
and off all day tomorrow (Friday 8th) due to having my bathroom renovated
for wheelchair access and as the computer obviously uses electricity (hydro)
then I won't be able to use it. *-)
Anyway, if anyone tries to contact me and doesn't get an answer be rest
assured that I will reply to you as soon as my elecricity (hydro) is
switched back on.
On top of all this the main water pipe on our street has burst 5 times in
the past month and as they're still working on it we have no water either.
Great for the contractors renovating my bathroom but not too good for us.
I also won't have a shower/bath for the next week either so if you see a
cross-legged, computerless, dirty person don't be afraid it's just me! *-)
Take care
Jayne
Look at this guys isn't this great?
FreeBMD HOSTED BY ROOTSWEB
by Camilla Gemmingen von Massenbach <camilla(a)algroup.co.uk>
FreeBMD co-Leader <http://FreeBMD.rootsweb.com/>
FreeBMD stands for "Free Births, Marriages, and Deaths." The
FreeBMD project's objective is to provide free Internet access to
the Civil Registration index information for England and Wales.
For more information see <http://FreeBMD.rootsweb.com/> (please
note the new URL).
Why did we decide to ask RootsWeb to host the system?
FreeBMD is a huge project with upwards of 120 million records to
transcribe and store, all needing double keying, search engines,
bandwidth to support the access requirements, Web space, and so
on.
RootsWeb is the future of free data access on the Internet.
RootsWeb can supply the hardware we need today and is dedicated
to scaling for next year and the year after.
RootsWeb is responsive to system administration needs, providing
software and technical support on the servers as well as on the
associated mailing lists.
RootsWeb is there in an emergency. We can confidently leave the
running of the system to the staff and volunteers in our
temporary absence.
Because it's RootsWeb, people will find it and know it's a real
project.
Thank you, RootsWeb, and all RootsWeb contributors who make this
possible.
Take care
Jayne

Hi Everyone,
I have just set up two more boards within the Clayworth GenConnect Surname
Board.
They are a wills board and an obits. board. Obviously, these two boards are
for the posting of any obits. and/or wills you may have.
Would anyone be interested in me activiating the remainder of the boards
which are Bibles, Biographies, Deeds and Pensions? If so, let me know and
I'll request that they be set up too.
Thanks and take care
Jayne
