>Jayne, thanks for all of the information. The John T. Clayworth I am
looking for died in (or around) 1941 so the early references may be a
relative. John T. left his mining claims to his siblings: O. Wellington
Clayworth, Harry C. Clayworth, John A. Clayworth, Nellie Briley and John
Russell Bogess. I have talked to Eddie Clayworth and Marie West who are the
children of John A. Clayworth. They tell me that John T. did not have any
children and may not have been married. They also tell me that Wellington
Clayworth had a single child who died at birth so there would not be any
heirs on that side. My hope is to find someone in the Clayworth family who
kept letters or pictures sent by John T. while he was mining in Alaska.
Thank you again for your help..Myles

Hi Everyone,
I have just received a call from a Myles Conway of the Government of Alaska
who is trying to find descendants of John T. Clayworth who apparently owned
a lot of gold mines in Alaska in the 1930/40's.
Some of his land (or a clients land) overlaps some property that is or was
owned by John T. Clayworth and he needs to find descendants to find out who
owns the land now.
Myles wasn't aware that John was in the Yukon before making his way to
Alaska and so I am helping him somewhat with that but if you are or know
someone who is a descendant of John either contact me or e-mail Myles Conway
at myles_conway(a)law.state.ak.us
Thanks
Jayne
Hi Everyone,
Just an update.
My back problems continue, apparently it is related to the fact that my left
knee won't bend and my back is being used to compensate for this. I had an
Occupational Therapist out yesterday who told me I will always have back
problems now but that they can help me, with some special aids, to reduce
the discomfort somewhat. So sometime before the end of this week I will be
receiving all these devices to try out to see if they'll work. Oh what joy!
Meanwhile, I am still supposed to be flat on my back, no sitting, no driving
and no bending over. I say supposed because I have a hard time laying flat
on my back 24 hours a day when there is so much to do.
I have been reading my mail but it is taking longer for me to answer mail so
unless your message to me is extremely important you may not get a reply
right away. Sitting is very uncomfortable and I can only sit at the
computer for short periods of time still.
Take care
Jayne
