Hi Lorraine ,
I see ,(If I looked right ) , that you are 3 years older than me ( *
3-4-1939 )
Everybody can have troubles with such things as a web.
I hope, that people here are happy with your work.
I could say the same for me, but I want to be honest to you ,and say that
I cannot use it, because I am looking for William Cl. from England -before-
about 1630.
Perhaps I was not clear enough with my question. Sorry about that.
I you or somebody else knows about W.Cl. from that year ,I would be happy.
Greetings, Peter

Hi Lorraine,
Thanks again for your reaction.
Yes ,I am very interested in an outline.
The names Thomas, John William and James are very often used in the Cl
Family. You also find them in the article "The Clayton Family '.It starts
with the crossing of The English Channel by William the Conquerer in 1054
from Normandy in France.
Your Dad has the eyes of a Norman (Viking ) from Norway. But the helmet
with the two horns was from very old German knights.
Greetings, from Peter in an already dark Netherlands.(9 P.M.)

Hi Peter:....My Clayton line has a lot of William,John, Thomas,James,
Samuel Ernest ,Ella, Louisa, Elizabeth,Anne, and old English names in it.
It is
accurate as it was done on foot by a friend who would seek out the
offices, churches, and graveyards in the midlands of the Cotswolds, and take
down
the info'. I could send you a bit of an outline if you were

Hi Peter: Thanks for sorting me out on the eyes and horns etc. I'll write
down a bit of what I have on my Claytons and hope it helps in some way.
-Lorraine from Canada.
Hi: We have only got our Clayton family traced back to England, mostly in
Worcestershire, into the mid 1700's so far. So we don't know just where
they started out from......

Hi Peter:....My Clayton line has a lot of William,John, Thomas,James,
Samuel Ernest ,Ella, Louisa, Elizabeth,Anne, and old English names in it. It is
accurate as it was done on foot by a friend who would seek out the
offices, churches, and graveyards in the midlands of the Cotswolds, and take down
the info'. I could send you a bit of an outline if you were
interested....... Thanks Lorraine.
