Re: [CLAYTON] My Claytons ??

I wonder if anyone has any info on Alfonsus Clayton who lived in Daviess
County, Kentucky, in the late 1800's? I'm trying to help a friend and
all she knows is that this was her grandfather's name.

Subject: [CLAYTON] My Claytons ??
Good morning everyone,
While we are talking about CLAYTONS, let me throw mine in to the mix. I
am having trouble getting past these three.
My G-Grandfather was:
JAMES SAMPSON CLAYTOM:, b. 20 July 1850, DeKalb Co., AL Died in Texas.
m. Sarah Calista (Sally) West.
His father was:
WILLIAM HIX CLAYTON, b. 30 May 1830, Grainger Co. TENN. m. Amelia Jack
His father was:
SAMPSON CLAYTON, b. 1 Aug. 1803, Grainger Co. TENN. m. Elizabeth Drain,
from Grainger Co. (I think.)
That's all I have....any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you and have a great day.
