found in the original records and not transformed otherwise errors
result. Quakers never use the names of months.

I have reached a deadend on my early ancestor William Clayton. We know
about his life and death in Pickens, SC and he was supposedly born in
Virginia 4 November 1761, but we have not found records.....
I seem to recall reading at some point that all children born in early
Virginia were baptized or registered in some way with the Episcopal Church.
I thought I saved the e-mail with the information, but can not find it.
Does anyone know about this or can tell me where to look???
