This is my first post on this board. I am trying to fill in a lot of gaps. My ancestor/grandfather was John Claypoole of England (I lost count on how many "greats" go in front of grandfather, but it's lots!). He was married to Mary Angell. Their son, James Claypoole, was born in 1634, and emmigrated to Pennsylvania. He died in Philadelphia in 1687. James was married to Helen Merces and had 13 children. Of those children, the only name I know is James Claypoole II, who is my direct ancestor. I would love to fill in some of the blanks in my research. Can anybody help?
