Are you sure his name was Levi. I have found in Index to War of 1812 Pension Files Volume I:A-F transcribed by Virgil D. White. Book in the TN State Archives.

Either Melinda Rawling married a Levi Claypool and a Jacob Claypool or the men were one in the same..
I have in my index a Jacob Claypool who was of a Claypol family that lived in Hampshire, VA . son of Jesse Claypool and Elizabeth Miller, but the bd and dd differ and his wife's name was Elizabeth Miller.
I also have a Levi Claypoole bd 1801, son of George Claypoole and Catherine Miller. I have no other information for him. Could the families have been mixed up somehow? Could the Millers be sisters who married Claypooles? Where did you get your information?
