I am sorry but I have hunted fhru my indexes and cannot find a Lawrence
Claycomb of the age of your gr gr grandfather, nor can I find a Rosie Cox.
I presume that Lawrence was not your blood line as you said they had no
children. If this is not correct give me more Claycomb names and maybe I
can help
Mary Alice Claycombe Adney
I am looking for my great grandfather, Lawrance Claycomb, born January
20, 1985 in Michigan. He died sometime in June of 1965 in Kansas. I
believe at the time of his death, he was married to my great grandmother,
Rosie Cox. Rosie had been married twice before. She was one of the
meanest women on the face of this earth, at least that is the impression
of her that I had, being a small child who was hated by this woman.
Rosie and Lawrance never had any children, but he did raise my
grandmother when married to Rosie. My grandmother had fond memories of
Lawrance, being the only parent in the house to show any love to any of
the 3 daughters of Rosie.
Thanks:)
Melinda
