Hi -
I am a desc of Mary Dumville [b.1784 South Carolina] that married Eleazar
Clay [b.1779]. Mary is a dau of Robert Dumville [c1735]. I have been looking
for the family of Mary McGill [c1750] who married Robert Dunville [c1735] in
South Carolina in 1772. I think I have found her parents and siblings, but
could use some help to confirm it. Mary McGill would be my fourth
great-grandmother. If interested in reviewing this family, let me know. My

The Clay Family Society (CFS) will hold its 7th biennial gathering June
21-24, 2012 in Independence Missouri, the "jumping off place" for westward
migration, and home to two important research facilities, the Midwest
Genealogy Center and the Frontier Trails Museum.
The major topics will be westward migration to the mid-west, westward
migration from the midwest to the west, Clay families involved, and using
land records to find ancestors. Participants will also visit the Genealogy
Center and the Frontier Trails Museum.
We welcome all people with an interest in Clay families, from Maine to
Georgia and beyond, to join us. More information is available at:

I will also be happy to answer any questions. Contact me
