Join the Clay Family Society at the Gathering in Huntsville, June 20-22,
2008!
Every two years the Clay Family Society sponsors a gathering of genealogists
and others interested in various Clay families.
A number of Clays were in Madison County, Alabama, shaping the commercial
and political climate of the area in the early years. We will be looking at
these Clays, the good, the bad, and the "oh, my gosh, did they really...."
Other Clay research will be presented, including our DNA study.
If you have an elusive Clay ancestor, we will try to help you break through
the brick wall.
We will also visit some sites in Huntsville that relate to the Clays, and of
course there's time for play!
Come join us. The CFS is dedicated to finding and researching Clays from the
north, the south, and across the oceans. See where you fit in.

I was viewing the write-up on Thomas Clay in the "Spot Light on Thomas Clay"
section of your Clay Family Society page. Mentioned in this write-up was
a lawsuit that Martha (Callahan) Thompson brought against Thomas Clay
to recover her share of her deceased father's estate. I would like to contact
the person who found this information or anyone with knowledge of the
year and county that it was filed in.
