My Clay is German and originally spelled Klee.

Hi,
I was wondering if your CLAY family originated from Mansfield, England as I
have quite a lot of info on the CLAY's dating back to about 1746.
There is a Arthur (not James Arthur) in my line who was born in 1859 in
Mansfield, but I do not know who he married, however I do have his other
siblings and parents names.
Please let me know if they come from that area, then perhaps I could help
you.
Glynis MILLETT-CLAY
