Hi I remember some on talking about the Klee kronicles.
What are the Klee Khronicles?
Does anyone know where I can read a copy of the KLEE Khronicles?
Thank You
Joel Clay
Hello fellow Clay researchers,
I have just returned from a three day trip to the Salt lake Library to
see if I could find some information on my gggrandfather James H. Clay
bor about 1829 in Giles Co, Virginia married to Susan Buskirk. I have
been told that he was the son of Bartley Clay and Nancy Prince. I have
not been able to find James on a census with his parents as of yet. He
is on the 1860 Lawrence Co, Kentucky census with his wife and 4
daughters. In 1900 Lawrence Co. Ky census James Clay is listed as living
with his daughter Matilda Clay White and son in law John White. There is
an uncle listed as living with them also , George Clay 60 years which is
the right age for being James's brother and son of Barley Clay.
Sorry this is so long but would appreciated any help, I am desperately
sesking this connection.
Thanks, Penny

Thanks to Steve, the list manager for posting my message
re: Matthias KLEE who was born about 1773 in Berks Co. PA and
died Nov.26, 1840, Loudon Twp, Seneca Co. OH.
Was on this list at one time, but forgot to resubscribe after a trip.
My server has changed my email address twice within a 2-1/2 time
frame. That is a nightmare to work thru.

Group,
The following was sent by Nancy Meyers who is not a subscriber. If anyone
has information for Nancy please also send a copy to her e-mail address as
she would not receive replies to the list. Thanks

Matthias CLAY, born ca 1773 Berks Co., died 1840 Seneca Co.OH, was the
son of Christian Clay/Klee and Mary FROMM. Am trying to determine who
all of his children/grandchildren were and his wife's name. I am a
descendant of his son John who wed Mary B. HOY. They were parents of 17
children. John died in 1844 OH.
Does anyone know where I can read a copy of the KLEE Khronicles?

Any one on this Clay line?
Not mine, but wanted to share.
Charle L. Clay
Born: Sept 24, 1848 N.C.
Son of A.M. and Catherine(Montague)Clay.
A teacher and study of medicine, graduated medical college at Louisville, Ky
in 1876.
Located at old Perry, McLennan Co, Tx where he set up practice.
600 acres of land in 1874 married Nannie Peebles of Coryell Co, Tx.
Four children:
Memorial & Biographical History Of McLennan, Falls, Bell and Coryell
Counties 1893.
With some kind assistance from Frances Spencer Powell and Bennie White's
web site, I have found the marriage date of Ken's grandparents, Walter
W. CLAY and Evie L. POWELL. They were married 20 Sep 1896 in Lauderdale
Co., Mississippi.
Does anyone know how to obtain a copy of their marriage certificate?
Should I send off to the Lauderdale County courthouse? I have the
address, but what is the cost of copies?
Thanks for any help you might be able to give.
