Barb... I am descendant of Clay and Farley, tho not Thomas and Judith---
I have Thomas Farley Jr., b. 1760, Va., married 1785 and d. 1839 to
Patty Lester, d/o Henry...from "Twelve Generations of Farley"
For children, I only have Dicy Farley, no additional, and Thomas
Farley b. ca. 1787 who died 1870 who m. Jane Pack b. 1788 and d. 1860.
I do civil war reenactments...one of the women I reenact with is a Clay
and Farley descendent and her husband is also Farley, Clay and Pack
descendent... This Thomas and Jane Pack is his direct line. I also have
Pack in my direct line. d/o of this Thomas and Jane was Dicey Farley,
b. 1813 who m. Thomas Sharp, b. 1813, their son Seth Sharp m. Elizabeth
Stout, b. 1836, and their son James Homer Sharp, b. 1873, m. dNora
Blanche Remy, b. 1884, their daughter Josephine Sharp b. 1916, m.
Lawrence Fowler, b. 1910 and their son James E. Fowler, b. 1939 m. Donna
Lee Shaw, b. 1939.... Donna and James are the Civil War Reenactor
friends of mine.
Don't know if any of this will help or not...

mrd Judith Clay, a cousin of Henry Clay, in Chesterfield Co., VA. abt
1754.

Fellow rooters: I received this same message by private email last week.
I do not know this person nor do I have any idea how she would have my
email address in her address book. I don't know what is going on here, but
I have no intention of responding and thereby confirming my email address.
Another thing which seems confusing is that it is signed by a woman, but
the email address is that of a man. Can anyone shed light on this? I have
written to Dr. Brian Leverich who works with Rootsweb in the hopes of
finding out what is going on.

I am looking for information regarding Sarah A. Clay born Jan 1839
in Mississippi. She was the daughter of Henry Clay (b. GA) and Catherine
Stephens (b. GA or SC). Henry died prior to 1850. His wife Catherine
remarried to James A. Wilder circa 1850. Sarah is enumerated in the
Chickasaw County, MS census of 1850 with her mother and stepfather. Sarah
married Jonathan Graham Blue in 1857 and migrated to Calhoun Co., MS.
Any information regarding Sarah or her parents would be greatly
appreciated.
