My grandfather was Pomp Claxton, married to Sarah Henry Claxton who lived in Tallulah, LA and was said to have been lynched in Tallulah. Pomp and Sarah had six children and the family moved to Shreveport in 1904, when my dad, Pearl (later changed to George) was about 5 years old. PLEASE send any information you might have - we may be related.

I am trying to trace my parents. The only information that i have is that my fathjers name is PERRY CLAXTON and he was married to a Phylis terresa Barber at the time of my birth in 1949.
He might have been an American? but was serving with the RAF at this time and was a corporal. I have absolutely nothing else to go on. I have tried for many years to find them but without much success.
Can anybody help me.
