Hi Mike,
I have a Charles CLAXTON bapt. 13 Dec 1823 at Belton Suffolk. I have no
other information on him after his baptism, so I guess it could be him.
Sorry I can't be of more help.

Sorry to say that this "Albert" isn't the James Albert Claxton of my line - out of MIlam Co, TX.
Do you have information on Albert's parents? My husband has a Claxton
line that came out of Washington, DC--they came there from England in
about 1816. John Claxton, b. abt 1775 and wife Anne Wright; seven
children b. 1800-1813.

I have recently started family research and would be interested to hear of any information regarding a Frederick Daniel Claxton (my Grandfather) who would have been born in the 1840s. He had at least one son, a Leonard George Claxton (my father) born in 1905.
I would be grateful for details of spouses and children.

Do you have any info on the Claxtons in central Texas? I think they are from the Avery and William line in Tennessee. Thanks KC
