Is this your John Claxton? If it is, where does Charles fit in?
The only Charles I can find is William Claxton's
(Scott Co TN and Whitley Co KY) son by his first wife.
I'm trying to find this William's parents.
I have info that a William Claxton married Sarah Abbott in 1877 in Scott Co TN which would match your info on the 1880
cenus of Campbell Co but Charles isn't listed on the cenus.
I'm trying to find out if these families are the same.
By the way are you related to the Morgans of Whitley and McCreary Co KY?
I have Daniel, Griffin, and James O. Morgan
